Hit the Uninstall button, and restart Windows. Go to Programs and Features, and select Parallels Tools. Disable your antivirus, go to Control Panel, and click on Programs. If this is the case, right-click on Microsoft Basic Display Adapter or Parallels Display Adapter (depending on your configuration). Then check if there’s an exclamation mark next to your adapter. Launch the Device Manager within Windows. Uninstall Display Adapter Driver and Reinstall Parallels Tools Restart your virtual machine, and check if you can enable Coherence Mode. Take the prl_cc.exe desktop shortcut and move it into the Startup folder. Go to C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup. Hit Enter to open the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming folder. Go to Modern UI, and type %appdata% in the search field. Then, right-click on prl_cc, and select Send to Desktop (create shortcut). If the service is not available on the list, go to C:/Program Files/Parallels/Parallels Tools. Restart the service if it’s already running. Then look for prl_cc.exe or Parallels Control Center. Click on More details, and go to the Startup tab. Launch Task Manager on your virtual machine. If the service is already running on your machine, restart it and check the results. If Coherence Mode still won’t work, ensure the Parallels Coherence Service or prl_cc.exe is working properly. Click on View and select Exit full-screen. Restart your computer, launch Parallels again, and check if you can enable Coherence mode.īy the way, don’t forget to exit full-screen mode before enabling Coherence mode.
